I listened to the radio on replay again. And realised we are blessed since last autumn or so with Duff McKagan having a radio show in here! Some years back Kim Wilde had her show on every weekend, I liked those too. Now Duff tells about past and brings us europeans some taste of american music. I must confess that for a loooong time I thought, say, in 1990-ies until some 10 years back, I thought that Metallica was Danish or mix of Denmark and Germany. Because Lars is Scandi and Danish name 🙂 so I just decided it’s the greatest thing born at one of the neighbours’ place. And I also decided Hetfield is German name. Dunno where or how because I am almost fluent in German and it certainly is not even close to a German name. Hilarious! But that times we did not have such magic like Google, so I have forgiven myself. I remember when I found out the truth I laughed at my self for several days. Which shows I am not very good at using computers. Anyways, it doesn’t make me smaller fan because I know each and every album and each and every song they have ever created. I also know which songs are best for which position 🙂 You may continue guessing what am I talking about from here on!

So, cultural announcements now. Can you imagine I gave out my last money for Tanita Tikaram ticket and now have exactly 30 Euros to live on for a week. The sad part is I did not get MY seat of 16 or 17, and I only got one seat. But I will survive sittin in seat 13. Front row, obviously. You might seek the best song in my opinion: Cathedral song.  

I am now listening for B.B.King and Harry Belafonte. I realised my first celebrity crush was Harry Belafonte. I mean, have you seen anyone more handsome than he? He is like not from Earth. His songs I also know all from the start to the end, all lyrics. Starting with Banana boat song and ending with the prettiest song ever written: Scarlett ribbons. You check those out too, you will not regret.  

Signs of spring here, a tad hectic but promising. For one there was more than a week plus degrees, almost all snow melted away. Then for few days now there is harsh cold, -24C at night and some -13 or -9 during day. I was, as always, working few days on the field. It was another nightmare but luckily no winds, so I was not shaking uncontrollably from cold and pain when I got into my car. I was clever too in the morning when going to work, on the road I took painkillers. I know I will be in pain or even fall ill every workday evening. From severe cold. So this time I did not. I guess this has to do with my clever trick of taking painkillers before the pain comes. This way they meet in the middle, the pain and the painkiller. Damn, I am clever! 🙂 I need a prize or medal of some sort! 

Today went to cottage to feed the stray cats, wild birds and have pizza at the neighbours place. My magic kennel works wonders, the room is warm, the food remains edible as it does not freeze into block of ice and the cats are happy to see me. Few of them let me pet them even. And their happiness engines work pretty loud! Saw one male cat already trying to score. Which is sad because I have no money to catch the females and sterilise them. Damn, damn, damn. I hate it. But I will keep feeding them all in order to get them trust me and maybe one day a solution will come to me. 

Anyways, will close this now, and listen to Harrys lullaby as it’s way past bedtime now! Almost 3 at night. Or in the wee hours of the morning…. Depends which way you look at it 🙂
