Ok, old folks! Or younger folks, or anyone really! Please tell me what on earth is falling off of me while I sleep? I am beyond desperate already. I don’t know what is happening! It’s been going on for a year or so and I’m fed up with it!
So, I go to bed. First I take off makeup while I sit on the bed. I clean it all up, tweek there and that, check and fix my nails for damages that happen easily throughout my heavy physical work (or, strangely, even way too easily when I just button up my pants!), then moisturiser or night cream or whatever fancy pots I have gathered right next to my bed. So, I put all what’s needed on my face, neck and legs and hands, and then I lay down. ONLY to spring up again because IT’S AGAIN SAND IN MY BED!?!? TF is going on??? Where is it coming from? I clean my feet thouroughly every evening, nothing gets to my bed from floor. I scrape off every possible cathair even. Nothing ever on my feet. Ok, so what are the options? Are there bits falling off of me while I sleep? Cos I sure don’t clean my bed in the mornings. I just stand up, do my face and piss off to work or coffee round or breakfast or whatever is planned. I don’t hang around in my bed once I have opened my eyes. It’s an old habit, always on the go. 24 hours is not enough for me. So I do my thing either work or shopping or doctors or graveyard or cottage or really anything that I have to do. And come back home. Do dinner, check computer, pay bills, run bath, usual things. And then I lay down and it’s that damn sand again. Obviously from last night! Or who is spilling sand into my bed during the day?? Tell me folks, cos I have had it!
Nobody is in my room during day. I found out that one of my cats is attacking certain flowers so I confiscated all these flowers that were of his interest and now they are all in my bedroom, on floor, on cabinets, all around and I close the door every day so this tiger doesn’t get to destroy the jungle. So I have eliminated that possible contributor. He only gets in when I am right here in this room. Perhaps when I read a book during day. But then I have the thing on top of the duvet. But sand is under it. Under duvet but on the bedsheet. I’m losing it. Where does it come from? I see no other reason but: it’s falling off ME! Are old people drying up and turning into tiny sand bits, as if prepping for the upcoming time 6 feet under?
Is this sand coming in from window? Do cats know their way into my room by opening the door themselves? Well, if so, how do they close the door once damage is done? Is there my moms ghost having a laugh right now and every evening so? That certainly would be her “kinda” joke.
I am actually pleased this fucking problem prompted me to write because I am out of my wits and I really want to know what the fuck is happening. Or, has this sand always been in my bed and it’s just my skin that is somehow now way too sensitive. I remember we slept in barn when we were kids, right in hay, and nothing bothered us but occasional spider or beetle crawling about. Yet now the tiniest of grain, as far as I can detect them, are smaller than sand and it is too big for me 🙂
I know it doesn’t make sense. Maybe it’s just me being nervous and exhausted, half dead from the yearly occurence called winter.
I must find my juju. My zen. Well, spring is here, in fact, spring started just two days ago as we still do this stupid clock thing, back n forth, nobody ever understood what means forward and what not. Spring means half of the target completed! This year I counted 28 days straight with no sun. That gives you hint of why northern folks love vodka. But the same time it is weird that finns are the happiest people on earth for the 8th time! No sense in there whatsoever. I myself am more of a tequila or rum gal. Or beer and rose bubbly in fact. Times of me dancing on tabletop are probably over. Tried to go out this last Saturday, after concert. Concert ended 20.40. I was home 21.00 and went straight to bed. That sand filled bed. I didn’t go out because I found a lot of excuses – going out alone looks desperate, I have no idea what todays hot spots are, looked up in internet and found they closing at 2 at night and every place has ticket these days. Is that normal? Ol’ times we just got started at 1!!!
Anyways, gotta clean that bed from sand now
puss puss
stay hot and cool
