• I’m ok

Have been absent. Life took over. I will be back in a mo, stay tuned!

  • 124, OO-scar!

Have you seen the cat story that won Oscar few days back? It’s called “Flow”. And yes, it came close to my hood, Latvia. So that in short means: time to celebrate! I have just the setting for it:

    oysters for appetisers

bottle of bubbly to keep busy til everything cooks

fresh salmon from Norway seared in olive oil and pure butter mix (real butter)

asparagus dropped into boiling water for 5 minutes, and then of course, buttered πŸ˜‰ and covered with grano padano flakes

and….. nice hot bath with either Two and a half men or Hot in Cleveland playing. Yes, I watch stuff when I am taking bath. I’m good like that :)…. dirty and clean at the same time. I also add nice cold bubbly or rose on to the counter. That’s all my modest way of celebrating and I highly recommend! So today I shall probably put the Flow on …. or maybe I will have it on weekend when I can sleep in next day.

Spring is certainly here now but the forecast is not pleasing as they promise there will be freezing weeks yet coming up. We noh have had plus side temperatures,  a whole 3 degrees Celsius! Which means 37Fahrenheit. Pure heatwave I say, sweating like pigs! Today I saw tulips peeking out in my garden already, not long til they are out and about. Snow is still around but more green is everywhere, the grass and all sorts of fields are all geetting green. Probably something called “winter wheat”, which is sown in autumn and is first thing growing after snow disappeares. That’s my guess, ofcourse. I am not that adequate in all aspects of agriculture πŸ™‚

So, look it up, the Flow movie, and enjoy!

    and for morning:

    Mi amore, latte macchiato!

    XOXOX

  • 123, ready!

Spring is in the air! Sun came out for 5th time this year and I saw dustrolls emerging from under the bed to get some sunshine. I kid you not. They appeared and layed out in the sun, enjoying long lost warmth, I could bet they had their eyes closed taking in every single ray. When there is no sun shining my home looks impeccable, clean, in order. The moment the sun comes I am both scared and pleased beyond measure. I know if I open them eyes I see them. I am not sure what magic it is or is it just me holding my head high πŸ™‚ in order to fight depression but I never see any dirt in winter or rainy day. I suspect the dustrolls are somewhere, especially considering my pets and lazyness. These two combined are to guarantee endless dustrolls under the bed. But I also think the cats running around doing their weird parcour on walls and under the furniture makes enough air movement all the dustrolls literally go hide under the beds. Yes, I do check under the beds every now and then and the sight always amazes me. They are all there. Waiting in fear or anticipation…. for that ride to freedom through the handle of the hoover.

Bingewatched the Jurassic movies, two nights in the row, good memories even though that would never ever be  my choice of theme but felt the need to serve my company. And, me as an avid TikTokker, I follow Sir Sam Neill in TikTok where he makes very funny vids. Somehow these two bits of information came together and my friends and I ended up having two movienights in a row. Before that I bingewathed Desperate Housewives for few days straight from the morning on into wee hours vithout noticing anything around me. Yes, Mike is still hot af and it’s really good to see some almost real adultlife on screen. Adulting, that’s boring in general, so I took the time to air my head.

Doing my mood board update for spring. I always have power growing in spring once the darkness ends. Tho tomorrow is one important day, 2nd March, that takes me back into darkness altogether no matter whats the weather. It’s the anniversary of my Moms death. It makes me sick. The investigation closed as chief of hospidal admitted to my face: “Yes, our deeds, or, in fact deeds we did not do, resulted in your mothers death. But it was five years ago so we are saved by the bell”. That in human language means they did not treat her at all, they admitted it. And it also means in human language that they killed her. Just by opening window in deep nordic winter, you know, to air the room. And by not giving her any food. Professional caregivers, that’s what they were and still are. But that’s not the mood I am about to put on my mood board, oh no! I am celebrating everything good, including sunshine, money, humour, and my goal of moving out of this hell of a country pretty soon. I can come visit, but it’s not life here. It’s constant survival and I don’t care to participate in it anymore. I despise what has my homeland been turned into, by our useless talking heads. Everyone I know is near bankrupt. And yes, I know just common people. Can you imagine our prime minister has only 12 years of school, like, gymnasium :), whatta joke.

Back to my moodboard. I shall finish my book. I shall move to southern bit of Europe. I shall build my life in better climate literally and businesswise. I feel stupid that I have not used my knowledge earlier, after all I speak 7 languages and it’s just dumb not using this knowledge extensivly. Sort of. Here I use only three languages every day. Which is a waste. I call anyone out to cast me in some movie with exotic blondes speaking funny languages like Finnish or serious villain-Russian fluently. Or German villain like in Die Hard. You will not regret :). I will better my life this year. Horoscope too promises me wealth beyond measure. They all state I have inborn right for wealth :). I shall claim it. You are welcome to join in!

Enjoy the weekend, enjoy the soon arriving spring with all the green leaves and singing birds.

  • 122 – fun, only reason to live?

I just had dinner, party for one: bottle of prosecco and selection of mild cheeses. Who can beat that?!

Ah, yes, the other day the italian theme turned later into indian theme. I took off some points for my inconsistency πŸ˜‰ but I do love some hot hearty meals. Our national kitchen is not much different from German and slavic mix: pelmeni in one end, Sauerkraut, Blutwurst and potatoes…. boiled usually. Well, the “to go to” meal when on my island used to be sort of marinated herring with sour cream and boiled potatoes, which I still love every now and then. Infamous thing was potatoes boiled in a pot while salted sardines were on top. Gross, I know. But seems the fishermen really loved it.

There is the russian or ukrainian shops in all major cities in the world, you can find some of our famous products there. Like black bread, the real bread, not the white flour sugarfilled thing you call a bread in USA.

My prayers have been answered and I have something to look forward to: AC/DC is coming to town!!!! So, I have a reason to live again for some half year or so. Got handful of tickets so I will now take applicants who want to go to the concert πŸ˜‰

I have been busy bee for weeks now, however, all the money coming in is spent faster than I can count. What’s with that now? Doesn’t matter how much I get all I see it’s dissapearing like in some twisted magic trick. And I don’t even buy anything special, just food, petrol, cats stuff. No clothes, no party, no cinema, no nothing. I looked up now we are the most expensive country in Europe. Out of all countries we have 22% tax on everything, food included, no exceptions on anything. Or to put it correctly, the only exceptions are fuels and alcohol and tobacco – taxes on these are even higher :). The sad part is that we are, in fact, poorest in Europe. Yet by the prices everyone thinks we are swimming in gold. Totally inadequate government, uneducated, just plain stupid. Embarassing. They now increased or added even more taxes. For real estate, for cars, instead of lowering or cutting all taxes, those idiots increased taxes. See, I went to uni for 8 years, studying finance, taxes, bookkeeping and business in general. The first rule for any economy to grow is….. yes, decrease tax or make incentives for business minded people who THEN create business, create workplaces, add some value to something. But our clowns increased taxes. Oh, embarassing, how stupid.

Anyways, today, on lovely Sunday, the sun came out for the second time in this year!!! I made TikTok about it immediately. I was in deep shock to say it mildly. I was paralyzed enjoying this, not moving, just staring at the sun. It could be the next time we see sun is in May. You never know! So this is what all the proper nordic people do when out of the blue the sun comes out: we put on warmest clothes, go out and stand in the sun like meerkats. Maybe few minutes, maybe ten minutes, maybe even half an hour. This we don’t miss ever. Today was second day the sun was out this year, it’s 16th of February. One and a half months, two times. I am not joking. That is why solarium or sunbathing is considered semi-medical procedure here. My doc literally told me I have to go or I will fall into depression (which is pretty common in this part of the world). We also are ordered to eat D vitamins daily whole year long. Only, perhaps, if it’s good weather, we don’t have to take vitamins in July. But all in all it’s vital that we take them all year long.

So, come along AC/ DC is waiting!

  • 121 only boring people are bored

I am not  morning person. At least in winter when it’s just constant darkness. I wake up at 6, 7 or 8 or 9…. do round in toilet, eyes closed all the way in and out, and go back to sleep. I just lay there and watch my dream until noon or so. Today is no difference. I woke-woke at about 11.11. Switch on laundry. Made coffee and stared out of the window. It’s boring, it’s dark, no sun. They call it daylight. Well, it’s fucking dark daylight then I say. Looks like imma have to entertain myself again.

So at about two o’clock I decided to have lunch or whatever you call the first meal of the day at two afternoon :).  The good thing is I prepare my fridge so that I don’t have to go out of home on weekends unless I fancy some restaurant. But then again, I don’t like to go out alone…. so the outcome is I don’t go to restaurants nor shops nor any other place. I stay in and do some reading or writing. As today! I figured I have so many good things in my fridge I shall have an italian day. I made tricolori salad with proper pesto and added some sundried tomatoes to the equation. Then roasted few slices of ciabatta. No, I did not forget butter on my ciabatta tho it’s not the choice of italians but I actually forgot I have olive oil. I don’t know how it’s possible to mix that up but I did. Anyways, it turned out tasty as always. And, the best part is, since it was already two o’clock I opened nice bottle of riesling. Well, yes, I know. I pretend it’s the very corner of Germany where that riesling is from. Well, at least next village πŸ™‚

I always loved German wines, a safe choice. But I am must say I have no wish to try and search for new favourites, say some italian, because I loathe going to shops. So I end up having safe choice of riesling or veltliner a lot :). Or, if I feel fancy, a bottle of gewΓΌrztraminer only for me! I would prefer Chilean white but the importeurs of my favourites, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, ever just banckrupted some ten years back and I have never seen chilean wines here after that. Or, maybe they are, ofcourse, in some speciality fancy places, but I don’t go to these places, again, alone.

Can you have profound memories of wine? Oh, I thought to look up the Baron Philippe de Rothschild wines online. No success. Probably because bringing them to this end of the world from Chile will end up having one bottle cost way more than commoners like me can afford ;). Can one import wines from Chile while living in France? Or would I be tortured and quartered?

For the enjoyable day I have put on a local rock radio. Mainly worldwide known bands like Metallica, AC/DC, Rammstein, Nirvana, some heavy, some retro, and to my surprise some local bands. Just a sidenote Finaland has most per capita heavy metal bands, just look up that fancy map of metal bands per capita in internet. I probably heard some more locals on this radio I just only now realised that. Just now there was song that lyrics were roughly like that:

    I have

    I have

    I have

    I have fucking big nuts,

I can be dumb and hairy BUT, I have huge nuts….

I get my nuts tested by idiots every fucking day

    So I need rest

Very good song indeed. Thank you for confirming πŸ˜‰

Will do some chores now, some more laundry perhaps, or hoovering. And planning some gardenworks because, you see, we don’t have any snow since few weeks. Only stupid rain. Stupid because if the temperature goes to be around zero then there will be ice and water which means there will be a lot of accidents again…. you know, not everyone is excellent driver like myself πŸ™‚

Tuuduluu, enjoy your weekend, stay cool and hot

    XOXOX

  • 120 nice round number

I like to think people are wise and kind. But the fact is, they are not…. It turns out average person mind works in greedy and nasty way. What else would explain the closing in doomsday of USA, the biggest terrorist on earth. Americans literally don’t get that they are the biggest terrorist on earth, led by nazi jews. Or zionist jews. Doesn’t matter how you name them, the core is evil. Brainwashed evil. How stupid and uneducated and brainwashed you have to be to believe “god promised the land of Palestine to jews”. The fuck he promised. THATS A BOOK, a fucking BOOOOOOOK. And you are retard if you are an adult and believe a fairytale. The louder the dumber. Yes, look around. The louder the dumber has been valid for ages.

One of the things I love in life is stability. Smallest things that never change. Stupid things, tiny gestures, even smells. You know the smell on asphalt after summer rain? One of the best smells on earth. Cleanliness, freshness, heat and water together. It comes in handy in turmolous times. Just like things you can no live without. Every person is, ofcourse, different. Some people can not live without coffee, simplest of things. Addiction, in fact. Or smoking. It’s a thin line between being addicted or just weak. Or only weak people turn into addicts…. That is actually my theory coz I am strong and I have quit all addictions I ever had, smoking and coffee. However, there are few things I probably can never ever quit. And luckily they are only bad for me πŸ™‚ or, precisely the part where people usually have waistline. I once had waistline too, mind you. That was when I was champ of lightathletics. Just kidding. I have noticed it appeares and dissapeares every now and then depending on the season πŸ™‚ because every now and then my pants fall down over hips. That’s how I know I have waistline.

The things I can never quit are beer, butter, bacon and asparagus. And music and cars. I just realised I have been avid beerlover for about 35 years. I am not that old tho, I just started early. “A few “Wink, wink” emoticons should be here. We had beer in farm when doing heavy physical works in summer, like doing hay for our horses and cows. Just looked up how to translate it into English, hilarious! Google translate gave me: the act of haying!! Ooooh, my belly is in pain from laughing!! So while doing the act of haying one usually does not want to eat as it’s hot. Well, you can’t do hay in rain. So usually it’s hot and you have to “fight” with heavy loads by hand and the pitchforks. Once you eat you will not be fit for the heavy work because all food wants to come back out. That’s why we had very light food during some breaks and mainly had drinks to not faint. For drinks we had either beer, kefir and later years also rootbeer kinda thing. Rootbeer was not much loved because here the thing was way too sweet and highly uncommon. At homes we usually had real beer made by ourselves for Midsummers. So our tastebuds got used to touch of bitterness from early age. I remember I first drunk beer when I was four or five. In our minds one half a liter beer equals two cutlets, so it’s real food πŸ™‚

When I cook…. and I cook every day…. I use butter in almost every meal, be it meats, veggies or porridge. While cooking dinner I always have my first aid beer for killing the bigger hunger and rock music as backround. That’s the diet that brings out my waistline! Proven!

Oh, just realised it’s past midnight. Gotta go now, more later!

    XOXOX

  • 119 I know

I figured that out now. The damn traffic-reglators that wave you to pass in red light…. They are not at work. They are drunks barely standing up. And one should not trust them even if it’s green light for you, please make sure you stay away as far as possible. The reason is I almost drove over one “regulator” as he was drunk as hell in the morning and all the waving took his balance off and, yes, he fell on the road. Was a close call. Again, I might add, as it’s not the first time that happened to me. Getting a tad weird that…. Imagine there is one and the same accident happening to you several times…. Ok, first one is like “OK”, shit happens. Second one, the same kind of accident, you start to wonder wtf is going on. Third one you look around suspiciously as there must be someone filming this for candid camera or sorts. Fourth time you just yell “oh, c’mon!”. The weirdest thing is that it’s happening in the same neighbourhood, my neighbourhood. Is it the people? Drunkards distribution system has them all here? As far as I recall they were always different people, not that one guy regulating traffic four times in the same place in the same manner almost getting killed by the same driver. Matrix repeating?

Anyways. It’s spring outside now. January still on and no snow when I look out of the window. There was a bit on the sides of highway that I noticed today. I went to check on my cottage. My cottage played a stunt on me. As I was years putting on the ignorance and kept my hopes high…. the house decided instead of me. There was huge snowing and then there was temperatures higher than zero, and all that snow on the roof became heavy as hell and then on 11th January night or 12 January early morning the roof gave in to 40cm of heavy wet snow and catastrophic winds that hit not only England but tiny bit of it reached us aswell. It decided it has enough of the winds, the cottage fought for survival for some 20 years that I own it. Winds shaking the whole roof, sometimes even taking parts with it. I usually were able to put the pieces back and fix it for another year…. and another. I always was scared that one day the winds will take half or all of the roof with it. Never realised the end of the era comes by snow. Well, this time the learning is: heavy snow and heavy winds together certainly make you move your arse. Not entirely pleased of the outcome but now can no longer postpone. I still postpone because I have no money to fix it, but I have decided to not allow the heartache to come or the brain to overload. I just smile. Because the shit has tendency to get sorted magically by itself. So I do no drama over it. It is as it is. I know I have to find finances, well, I will sort it somehow. I also have to do some heavy lifting myself to get the dangerous roof that collapsed into the middle of the house, torn down. I have already called for all my friends and family to come in the last week of February to get it all down. For that time I will arrange the huge skip or two for the roofing material and the useless shit that still is there on the second floor and get rid of it all. I figure there will be a lot of useful wood, some huge logs that kept the house steady and standing for 200 years straight. I certainly will not toss those! All the useless wood will be gathered into a huge pile and we will have the Midsummers fest in the back yard, summer solstice, one of the two parties we as a nation always celebrate. Pagan nation, mind you. In addition all the countries around the Baltic sea celebrate it, Finland, Scandinavia all the way down from Estonia to Poland and as I have heard the coast of Germany also lights up some huge fires. Or maybe it was some other festives they celebrated. I have been to Midsummers fest in few countries but would like to go to Finland once more. It is rather strange there…. I mean the very north part in June is strange as the sun never goes down. It’s exhausting but oddly satisfying. You need and must sleep but you can not. Just cannot as it’s bright and pretty…. I wonder how animals and birds get it done. Can’t remember. That’s why I want to go there again. To feel this weird thing again and see what animals do to cope.

Maybe this year…. This year I also plan to go to south of Europe, not to the very end of it, but somewhere in the middle, on the coast of Mediterranean. So it’s south Europe as next further on to south is already Africa. Well, Malta is there too but I will not go to Malta this time. Even though I love Malta, I recognised my roots being from there, or I lived there in my previous life, I knew the smells, the streets, the coastline. It is very lovely but I need something with better access when ever I need to go. I mean, I have lived on island for some 15 years and it is all pretty but scary too. It’s like prison. You are not in charge. I don’t like to be not in charge. Even tho my cottage took the lead now and I have to accept it. I don’t like it. I can’t change it. So I am going on a trip to find new place to live. In my radar there are France and Italy. Maybe Portugal. But France and Italy are first choices due to languages. Or, to put it fairly, my ability to learn languages :). My mother side of history is from todays Tunisia, Italy and Malta. Her ancestors ran away from war, hid in Malta fascinating shoreline with their armada or what was left of it and came further on to north. I am from there, from much warmer place. I don’t think I can survive another winter here, snow up to hips, ice, terribly expensive, dark. So I really have to put some effort to it this summer. To lead myself, not to give the leading role “to cottage”.

    Stay cool and hot

  • 118 and 1st at the same time

And just like that, a year has gone by. With small defeats and small wins, with some big defeats and some big wins. Yet, let me tell you, no snow on New years eve is the first time I see it… Well, in homecountry that is. I did not see the snow when I was in tropical neighbourhoods on New years eve, thats for sure πŸ˜‰

    So I call it mudhole.

All taro, horoscopes, witches promise this year, 2025, will be incredible success, huge changes and dangerous at the same time. Apparently the danger comes from natural disasters which, as promised, should make the crappiest people re-think and start mending their wrongdoings. I see it’s applying to yews and russians, and american “leaders” aswell. The warmongering of all these occupants. Yes, most americans too are occupants, hence they are originally from Europe or anywhere else from the world. I still am flabbergasted or even in deep shock when they proudly present the thanksgiving as the best holiday on earth, well, after 4th of July that is. For common educated people in the other end of the world we were taught in schools that this particular “celebration” is actually celebrating of killing the natives…. Pushing the native kids, women and men into church, closing the door and then setting it on fire. Burning alive and now you keep on celebrating it. It’s amazing how uneducated americans are…. or, how simply put stupid they are. It’s a disgrace to the rest of the world even, we feel ashamed because you are genetically part of us or born “from us”. So while americans yap about russians being nasty ones occupying / waring (oh yes, I invented a new word it seems!) in Ukraine and poking on Georgia (Sakhartvelo, not USA) they are the biggest terrorist on Earth together with israhell. Why? Let me tell you. USA has attacked more countries in all corners of the world than anyone else. They have killed more innocent civillian people who were minding their own business in Syria, Afganistan, Bosnia (which, just a reminder, is in Europe), Yemen, Iraq, Iran, several countries in Africa, many countries in Asia AND in South-America. What fuck do they have to do with all these countries? They pay to their soldiers to kill people in other end of the world. Pay. Soldiers. And they call it peacekeeping, keeping the order. The fuck they have to do with middle-east countries, except another occupant called israhell. These “yews” are not from middle-east, they are from effing Australia, Philadelphia, France and Poland, hence they are WHITE. And in addition, ask yourselves and answer yourselves, why the skincancer rate is through the roof in this so called “indigenous yews” πŸ™‚ …. I can tell you: it’s because they are not from this region, they are occupants in Palestine.

The same with USA. They collect huge sums of money for israhell support. Israhell has free education, free healthcare and so on…. free house (which they take from the actual palestinian owners). They also have the “forever victim card” they play for US taxpayers money. The equation is: USA taxpayers are killing palestinians.

So I pray, even me being non-religious, that the year 2025 brings us the beautiful and long waited end of israhell. That there will be saviour Luigi for all the roaches in all the corners of the world cleaning it up by “doing the Luigi”.

I pray there will be 8 grams of roundy metal to liberate us from the nasty orc “poo in a tin” and all his copies.

Then and only then we can start building the prosperous and happy world for all the nice and kind people.

    Happy new year!

  • 117 oh, look, month gone by!

Lazy? Certainly. But not this time. I have been busy in all other aspects of life but writing. I must apologise. I actually owe you 4 written stories as I promised some time ago to write every week. So here we go. Failed big time.

But to get at least part of my failure right I today, Sunday nite, shall write. I shall write what I have been doing all these days, for almost a month. Two days less than a month has gone by.

I put up christmas tree. Originally the decorated tree is from Scandinavia and nordic people. Christians came, killed us and hijacked the celebration of winter solstice which we, as pagans, celebrated by decorating an evergreen tree. So there you go. Another perk of christianity in addition to killing everyone not believing in your imaginary friend. A bit of history lesson for you all. No, we are still nonbelivers here, in this end of the world, because no lunatic has successfully proven the excistence of imaginary friend. And for eager ones – no, we are not in need of resque, so stay put where you are and do not bother coming over to help us.

I sure must look into putting up pictures here because this years tree certainly would need wider audience. We celebrate France this year, while prepping leaving current country of residence, country of origin. So the tree, in fact, features the colours of France, blue, white and red. All baubles and figurines are of these colours, no other. I have 8 boxes of xmas tree deco in total, all split into specific colours. For instance I have box of white deco, then dark blue, then light blue, then golden/ yellow, then reds, then greens, then pink and orange. I actually have ninth box too, full of black deco, but this I will put up some year when I feel monochrone. This year I feel more and more french. Coq au vin, eclairs, champagne, accordion music, Edith Piaf, macrons, getting mood ready for the move.

You see I have been baking macrons, as a holiday seasons gifts for my comrades, friends and family, and selling them online for anyone interested. As no red, blue nor white boxes are available I designed the macron gift box to be black and golden. Printing out greeting cards too that go inside the gift box. I actually design the entire thing from zero – starting from the tastes of macrons, actually baking them, and complete with the luxurious black and golden look. This will be nice surprise for everyone because I earlier had just carton boxes, boring kraftpaper coloured eco-thing that did not ooze anything but cheap crap. But macrons are not cheap nor crap. My macrons have been declared the best in the country and, during a trip to Paris, my macrons were declared better than Laduree macrons. So I have to live up the status. I have online ordering set up, pretty basic, just have to choose Yes and fill in your address and courier will bring you the box. At the moment you can not choose the tastes as it is based on my mood πŸ˜‰ of when I work in the kitchen. If I feel like pistachio, then I bake pistachio macrons. Or cherry. Or cinnamon shock. So I never know what tastes will come out, for real. It is therefore called art, the art of baking. I do have 7-8 different tastes every time tho, so the box consists of random selection really. All good, if you ask me! Or if you ask the independent voters in Paris πŸ˜‰

I have been running my logistics company too, that part is most lucrative but most boring for people to read about. However, year end is close so doing the stock checks, counting every bit of cargo we have and praying for more to head our way from Africa and South America. By the looks of it we will have somewhat more movement compared to last year when our income plummeted and we lost 95% of our income. Yep, all thanks to poooooo in a tin a ka Putin.

Off to Enter Sandman land now,

    Stay cool and warm

    XOXOX

  • 116 fun is must in life!

I now am going to tell praise to myself for being such an excellent person. Because today, drumroll!, I slept until 13.00 sharp. I won! I won, if there ever was a competition on ability to sleep night and day. I surely won! Winning is always a good feeling. I remember it from the days I was competing in either light athletics or truckracing. I also win bets. For instance I bet that Trump will win for the second round. I won. I see things. But not the things I want. Just random things. Today I only woke up at one o’clock because I opened my eyes for some moment at 9 too but then was just dark, as dark as if it was still night. Then I opened my eyes at 11. It was still dark. It was just too damn dark to wake up. I closed my eyes and kept on watching the dream about my soon to be life in southern France. It was very nice dream, I must say.

So here we go, the praise for myself!

I do everything right, fair and honest (that’s no irony there).

I work hard both mentally and physically.

I keep order around and within myself (that’s pure exaggeration. To prove: I lost pair of jeans just few months ago and I have still not been able to track them down so I walk around with jeans that have very little material left on some parts. For that reason I put underwear on…. if you know what I mean)

I have raised some mean kids. To prove that:

I started to make pancakes for that thing called “breakfast” at about 13.20, a true time for any proper breakfast, that’s for sure. So my kid, who also is winning at sleeping day in and day out and woke up a whole twenty minutes before me, put on some music to my speaker. You know, for me to enjoy while I prepare the breakfast/ lunch/ and maybe even a dinner…. which brings me the thought that he wants something, why else would he be kind like that…. suspicious, that’s for sure.

So I was whipping up the eggs for the batter. I always make the pancakes in french crepes style. I think mr Pepin would approve even tho I don’t sautee them in cognac. So eggs, now, sugar, some salt and then whisk away. Flour, milk, olive oil and melted butter. All in and ready to go. During that time the music was playing and I kid you not, that’s what was playing, in this order

Guns’n’ roses, Welcome to the jungle

The White Stripes, Seven nation armyRammstein, Dicke Titten

    Andrea Bocelli, Con te partiro

    Richie Sambora, Harlem Rain

    Giuseppe Verdi, Nabucco, Va, pensiero

    Rammstein, die Sonne

and yes, I sang them all with all my might. You might want to look up the Dicke Titten translation as it’s in German. Enjoy πŸ™‚

Did you know Va, pensiero was suggested in 1980s to become Italys anthem for several times but with no luck!? Extraordinary work, really. And, if I am not mistaken, then almost 200 years old piece too this magnificent piece. Would be quite funny if italians now decide to take it on as their anthem and then many people would have very curios question to me of why on earth do you know the italian anthem by heart LOL

So, all my favourite music all in one go. I must say I only got one crepe myself, that’s not what happens usually. Taking notes here means I will have to upgrade my receip from four eggs to five. Othervise I will just continue being unvoluntary weightwatcher. Which of course, ain’t that bad but I make mean crepes!! Roll in vanilla icecream or whipped cream and then “sprinkle” blueberries, oh, to die for. Trust me!

Today I made some shopping! Dreadful it was, indeed, but I survived. Took some Christmas deco for my family, will deliver it to the island some time in December. We have had our first snow already but it disappeared immediately. So for now the temperatures are still in plus side. I was searching for some gigantic flowerpots in four shops but as it turned out we are not the market for anything in scale. So no success there. Once in shop I had to use the “being” in there and do some shopping. Actually pretty pleased I survive. Useful, got some presents covered and had some great prices too. Tho it looked suspicious them having 50% off sign up and it’s not even December yet. I am pretty sure they just put double prices on and then graciously gave you the discount :). The shop happy, customer happy. Or as we say: wolf full and lamb alive.

Gotta run now, it’s what we call early Sunday morning. I will have workday today, doing flower arrangements in bulk πŸ™‚

    Stay warm and cool

    XOXOX
